The results
Mostly A’s — You asked him about her. Asking was right. Now listen to the answer: is he telling you about her, or telling her something through you? The second one has heat in it and you will feel it when it happens.
Mostly B’s — You’ve read everything. The research never ends because it can’t. Mute her, make looking take four steps instead of one, then ask whether anything in how he treats you has actually changed.
Mostly C’s — You’ve started shrinking. You’ve turned yourself into a comparison. Name three things you did before him that were only yours and do one this week. You can’t win a competition you shouldn’t have entered.
Mostly D’s — You say you don’t mind. ‘She comes up a lot and I notice it’ isn’t jealousy, it’s a fact. One plain sentence, no preamble in front of it. His reaction tells you more than she ever will.
