The results
Mostly A’s — You made him explain. You asked for the account, which is the only real test. An explanation he can actually give — and that matches what he does over the next month — is worth something. One that arrives only because you asked is worth less.
Mostly B’s — You picked up like nothing. The gap gets skipped, nothing changes, so the gap happens again. You don’t have to punish him. You do have to ask what the silence was before you hand back the same access you gave him last time.
Mostly C’s — You made him work first. Making him wait feels like levelling it out, but you’re both just running a clock. Say the true sentence instead: ‘disappearing for three weeks didn’t work for me.’ Then watch what he does with it.
Mostly D’s — You left it unopened. You felt it and didn’t act on it, which is rarer than it sounds. Nothing to fix. Just check whether unopened means closed, or means you’re waiting with the volume turned down.
