The results
Mostly A’s — They knew your name. Being known before you walk in means he’s been talking about you when you weren’t there. That’s real. The only test left is how you feel after seeing him — more like yourself, or less?
Mostly B’s — They’d never heard of you. Nobody in his life knows your name, so you exist in one room only. Ask whether he’s ever mentioned you to anyone — not introduced, just mentioned. That answer decides what this is.
Mostly C’s — You’re one of several. You were slotted into a spot that’s had other people in it. Not fatal, but it tells you where you sit. Watch whether his warmth arrives exactly when you start losing interest.
Mostly D’s — Her shadow was in the room. Everyone felt her in the room, including you. The question isn’t whether he’s over her, it’s whether he’s telling her something through you. Name what that night did to you, out loud.
