The results
Mostly A’s — Real life, and he rebooks it. Busy happens. He tells you in advance and moves the date himself, which is effort showing up as logistics. Believe the rebooking, not the apology attached to it.
Mostly B’s — Busy is his ceiling. He isn’t too busy, he’s at his ceiling, and it’s been this height since week one. Ask for one specific thing — a day, not ‘more effort’ — and watch what comes back.
Mostly C’s — The pre-emptive excuse. He told you he’s bad at this so you couldn’t raise it later. A warning isn’t a plan. Does he ever move things somewhere else — a call, a voice note, a date?
Mostly D’s — Excuses are the exit. The excuses are getting vaguer and the gaps longer. Compare this fortnight with a month ago. Fades are only visible from that distance, which is why they work.
